This app is making 56 million function invocations per day after it became crazy popular on the App Store.
The app has 500K users and scaled without any downtime.
Predictably half the comments & quotes are about how this would cost $5 on a VPS 🤦🏾♂️
Remember, how 19 years ago, a bug in Firefox resulted in two users using the same machine to see what sites the other user used? And it caused a couple to split up (but filed the bug!)
Microsoft Recall allows for much more invasive "spying", in its current form.
On 5th March I submitted an exploit to the Google Bug Bounty that allowed me to view some variables for websites, including non-public metrics used for ranking. They rewarded it with the maximum abuse bounty (which is being donated to charity). I am going to share what I found:
- Once the disclosure period is over and it is patched

What happened to "Less Tax for Landlords" after we revealed they were flogging an amazingly inept tax avoidance scheme?

How do you do remote mobbing? Well, here's a video of a few teams at Hunter Industries mobbing F2F. Now, imagine that instead of a big monitor & workstation, you all shared a single workstation remotely and used Zoom to see and talk to each other. Yet other teams use their own workstations/IDEs and use https://t.co/y05EkEzALG to move the code from one place to another. A shared cloud disk also works well. Then there's always Teams and a shared screen showing an IDE window, but I find that more awkward because iI like having control of sizing, zooming, panning, and scrolling on the workstation in front of me. Finally, it's also nice to have a shared whiteboard; I use Miro.

Steve Bruce once said: "I'm not really into tactics".
But luckily he has a second career to fall back on.
Back in 1999, Bruce published a trilogy of football murder mystery novels starring his alter-ego Steve Barnes.
And they're absolutely amazing...
🌞Here's a short story abt how I went to Morocco to see one of the world's biggest solar plants.
It didn't go quite as I expected
This is the Noor complex near Ouarzazate.
It's massive. Bigger than the capital of Morocco.
Europe (& UK) plan to import solar power from Morocco.
