@Korn1699@jdanylko@FlannelToLace@Wooly6Bear@mgroves I was at the 2020 CodeMash and did not get COVID. Right now I'm waiting to see what the new norm is. I've been working remote for 2 years and enjoying it. I'm liking more remote learning at this time, though I suspect I'll want to attend a conference in the next year or two.
#dwd212 Let's start of with an obvious web site performance boost by caching data in memory so you're not slowed down by fetching data from disk, database, or an api. Be careful not to abuse and allocate enough memory for your app. 😀
@jdanylko I think the hardest part for developers is patience.
1. Patience to practice coding.
2. Patience to look for side effects to your changes.
3. Patience to find the root cause beyond the symptoms.
4. Patience to trace through the forensics.
5. Patience to listen, hear, and learn.
@jdanylko ... on deeper analysis this developer must have been suffering through heart break and depression... looks at version history... ah seasonal allergies, now it all makes sense.
