I need your help with something, even if it’s just a retweet:
I’m working on a story about the evolution of video games and the KEY to my story is a guy named Oscar Munoz who worked for Sega’s customer service dept in the early 1990s.
I’ve tried everything to find him and this is my last resort.
@raesanni Joking aside, I hope you're able to eventually get off of here. You deserve nice and less racist, not extra agitation from an algo that rewards the most aggravating takes or tries to debate people's trauma.
We are in a dangerous place as a nation when members of the press are taken into custody for exercising their First Amendment right to a free press, while federal agents kill with impunity.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon, Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lydell Lundy, as dictated by the current presidential administration, should alarm us all. We must not look away or be dismissive. This is serious, and I am calling everyone to a higher state of consciousness and awareness of where we are.
This is fascist behavior, and now more than ever, I urge us to persistently seek out and study nonviolence so that we have the necessary mindset, tools, strategies, and coordinated efforts, not only to resist in this moment, but to bring into being a true state of justice.

Louisiana v. Callais is a critical Supreme Court case that will shape whether Black voters in Louisiana receive fair representation. It also tests the strength of the Voting Rights Act itself. What happens here will impact voting rights nationwide. [1/4]
The poor are not there by chance or by blind and cruel fate. Nor, for most of them, is poverty a choice. Yet, there are those who still presume to make this claim, thus revealing their own blindness and cruelty. #DilexiTe
He’s just making it up and there are zero consequences for his lies. Every media organization, every newspaper front page, every nightly news broadcast, should be leading with ‘the president is lying about the situation in Portland.’ But our media is broken and can’t/wont do it.
I will not back down.
Trump is now calling for the arrest of elected representatives checking his power.
What else is left on the path to full-blown authoritarianism?
From The Oregonian this afternoon about Kristi Noem dodging local reporters today and granting special reporting access just to a handful of right-wingers.

That was the whole point of colleges, museums & corporations like Google, Paramount, Disney, Twitter, Meta, Comcast Spotify & Apple capitulating or paying MILLIONS to collaborate with this administration
Just because you don’t see something does not mean it doesn’t exist
Actually, this is how billionaires avoid paying taxes.
Loans aren’t taxed, so they borrow money against their assets/net worth & their heirs inherit the untaxed wealth
If we ONLY taxed the unrealized gains of the top .1% we’d have MORE than the $13 trillion @SandyDarity calculated for reparations

This sounds frivolous in the grand scheme of things but we need to support archivists, protect public libraries, protect journalists, writers, artists, photographers, and filmmakers. We need to continue to keep culture alive and educate our youth.
The privilege of celebrating rn is exactly what’s wrong with us as people. I am truly worried about my fundamental human rights.
Racism, misogyny, and hatred of women are so deeply rooted into everything that is America.
Until we fix the roots…it will never grow.
Americans have spoken. .. now we get ready for Midterms 2026…all 435 seats in the House and 33 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be contested. 39 state & territorial U.S. gubernatorial elections, as well as some state and local elections, will also be contested. #keepmoving
Your votes in down ballot races this November just got a lot more important.
“The plan also empowered city councilors to remove oversight board members for, among other things, “objective demonstration of bias for or against the police.”
