@JaneDueker Another question is what were the developments specifics of the deal and who is to do the work and who is the profit from it. We always hear about these deals we never see the transparent side of them
City Hall is a mess. This is how the status quo handles business. It's time for a change. City Hall needs to be efficient and employees need to understand that they're not entitled to their positions. That will ensure competent staffing and behavior . #StL

It's unclear why organizers made the sudden decision to continue the parade, as CEO Keisha Lee credited the actions of state legislators.

THIS is what we need to change in St louis. This is the status quo. This is what we get with the other 3 choices, more of the same old, same old entitled City Hall and it's ineffective leadership. @Everyone@stlpolitics@StLouisAmerican#StL

They're also not taking into consideration the reporting issues that have still not been audited. If she's doing so great, allow for a complete impartial audit
This story says nothing about national trends or that fact that the state had to come in and pressure Tishaura’s friend Kim Gardner to resign. The Governor then appointed a new prosecutor which has helped tremendously.
And another one. Another festival, show, business, or Marquee event is leaving downtown. St Louis city is not in the shape they say it is. We are quickly becoming a ghost town. IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE StL! @everyone@stlpolitics@stlouisbiz@CitySceneSTL#Stl https://t.co/gSYxQANByS
Come tonight and hear we speak about what we need to do to turn St Louis around! It's time for a change St Louis! @everyone@stlpolitics@StLouisAmerican
Yet another iconic business leaving downtown. If we keep voting in the status quo a failure and a lack of business acumen this is what we are going to continue to see. It's time to MAKE A CHANGE ST LOUIS! https://t.co/rlKaScBJC6
This is the problem with our city. Lack of transparency and leadership. None of the status quo has any interest in being transparent. They're not worried about fixing the city, they're worried about spending the stadium money.
Interesting moment from my interview with Mayor Jones:
Q: When it comes to matters of transparency, can you tell the city councilor release that?
A: Well, no, I cannot.
An attorney suing the city: "Tishaura Jones has the absolute authority to tell the city counselor what to do"
In the absence of true leadership, you will see behavior like this. St Louis has an opportunity to enact actual change that will benefit the city and her citizens. That time for change is now. @everyone

Sheriff Alfred Montgomery releases a bizarre statement to try and explain why he gave fired deputy Tony Kirchner a chance to roll the dice to keep his job. He calls it a “de-escalation strategy to ease the tension,” because he claims Kirchner was armed and emotional.
A $500k settlement for Janae Edmondson is just another sad example. An amazing young woman lost both legs due to City Hall’s failure to manage crime and lack of a simple yield sign where one was needed. @everyone#StL

@SUNeyeDeLIGHT@nolzay77@NickBSchroer I'm confused by this response. SLPS spends more per student than all other districts in MO and the most others have amazing ratings. The issue is many parents not taking ownership in their child's education. More $ simply thrown at the district will not fix that. WE NEED CHANGE!
