@itsmebutterz@drakefjustin@grok Trust online is going to zero. Everything important will take place offline, just like the old days.

@kmad@matthew_d_green@matthew_pines And you'd never be able to know if another model is ahead of your latest patch/fix.
Trust online for every interaction will go to zero.

@ElderAtropos99@genmon I'm mentioning how a San Francisco-based company picked an English accent.
As an English person, you could select an Australian accent for AI assistant and you would notice it would seem less robotic.
@yazcaleb@hassaanraza okay so they either never release it and they also have perfect cyber security to avoid getting hacked or eventually it's distilled or just outright stolen and open sourced
@malonebarry Why ban yet another technology that points towards the same inevitability that interactions online cannot be trusted?

@codytfenwick@bahradx I think the argument is that no one should trust any interaction online and this technology is just accelerating the inevitability of that dynamic.

@breaksya@BristbyJohn@sethharpesq I just googled Adrian Zenz. He's a researcher that publishes his work for peer review.
He also appears to be the focal point of CCP trolls attacking him personally so that people won't listen to what he has to say.
Is that what you're doing?
@johndeanl I had a similar thought when I saw a robotic humanoid struggle because human bodies aren't really that great for most things.

@Sleek_Otter I don't know if you can ban a technology. Once it's out, it can be reverse engineered and stripped of guardrails and protections.
