Don't blame the renters for this, the problem is much bigger and emphasizes our need for affordable safe housing. Some things are too important to be left to capitalism; affordable housing and health care are 2.

@ananavarro The stupid thing is that this is such a big deal. We should have had a woman president decades ago. The world has had so many female leaders who lead their countries with dignity, skill and honor. Race and gender should have been never been a factor in elections.

I'd rather go back myself or have is stay there forever than risk the need for my kids to invade there in a decade.
