Fun fact: My grandfather was the best man in Mannys wedding! :):)

Fernandez joined the Dolphins as an un drafted player in 1968.

The biggest game of his career came in Super Bowl VII, when he had 17 total tackles. Many people feel that Fernandez should have been the MVP that day instead of Jake Scott.
It’s been reported that Dick Schaap who was in charge of the MVP decision, was out late the night before and admitted he was hungover while watching the game.

It’s worth noting that only one nose tackle in Dolphins history had had more sacks than Manny, with him coming in at 35 total sacks in his career.
