New Hampshire got a new coating of snow overnight and it's spectacular. I took this picture from Sugar Hill, with a distant view of Franconia Notch and snow on Mount Lafayette.
A break in the fog revealed a partial undercast and a wintry-looking summit cone, with 5.9" of snow and sleet recorded over the past 24 hours with the recent storm.
Boston, we will miss you.

At the 10 o’clock position of the Orientale basin, the two smaller craters – which the Artemis II crew has suggested be named Integrity & Carroll – are visible.

The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.
The National Hurricane Center is debuting an updated tropical cyclone forecast track cone for the 2026 hurricane, which includes U.S. inland watches and warnings and uses a single transparent shade for the entire 5-day forecast.
