@startkyIeorton I’m a Lions fan and I enjoy you takes. I do get slightly annoyed when you say true things about Goff. And I get annoyed at Bears successes but I enjoy your takes
@startkyIeorton It always gets me when someone quotes a stat starting with “between x week and y week”. What happens when you shift your sample by one game? Probably dramatically shifts the narrative.
@jrmamana There are 75k-80k D1/2/3 football players in America. I sincerely believe there are many backups that would have been better at soccer if they had started that young. And they would all be lighter if they trained for soccer their whole life.
@BoxingSince1776 @mrJahova @jrmamana Exactly. If Messi was born in America he would be a really good High School running back that wouldn’t have the size to continue far into college let alone the NFL. Likewise there is some backup D2 running back or WR who probably would have gone farther in soccer.
@mrJahova @jrmamana It wouldn’t be the star players that have potential for the NFL but instead the 5’11” third string college WR who maybe would have been better at soccer if he started young and trained those skills and energy systems instead.
@eastonfreeze I think it depends on how good the roster is. A bad roster with zero turnovers might steal some games but the Rams with zero injuries are going to be awesome.
@PurpyNFL The Lions are easily the most popular team in Detroit despite the three other teams being more successful. This was still true when the Lions were bad.
