@PieterLValk@jaredhmoore As someone whose family was deeply devastated by my father’s suicide, I find Porter’s rhetoric harmful. Don’t use suicide as a way to crash out of a conversation you willingly entered. Claiming you can’t continue because of suicide is emotional manipulation.
@malachiobrien The circles you are running in are causing you to grow increasingly out of touch with the common parishioner in the pew. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” - Proverbs 14:12
@BroSpencer Non tobacco user here…. But there are plenty of godly people who use tobacco products in our state (Kentucky). Such a legalistic stance will hinder a man’s ministry to people who would’ve starved growing up if it wasn’t for raising tobacco.
@malachiobrien@Benny_Hinn God is moving in Uganda, but not through this crusade. It’s not always God's will to heal.Physical healing was not guaranteed in the atonement. That is a heretical view as it adds to the Gospel.Healings still happen by the sovereign choice of God not at alter calls of the“anointed”
@BaptistBlogger Forget the cigar bar… host a faith healing revival like the sbc churches in central Kentucky are doing. Maybe they can exorcise the demons of the SBC.
@BaptistBlogger We have SBC churches in central Kentucky doing 10 days to pentecost services where the Assemblies of God and church of God folks are preparing for alter calls with healings and filling of the Holy Ghost….. just another sign of the decay.
@Kentuckyweather That Tornado Warning for Lincoln County had the town of Hustonville awake. Folks were talking yesterday about the tornado of April 3,1974. Everything seems to be in place and is calm now.
