@marthamaccallum @RobertKennedyJr I always got the National Award. I couldn’t do the required number of pull ups, but I could do everything else. I remember to qualify I had to do a hang instead of the pull ups. Everybody that got Presidential got their name painted on the wall in my elementary school.

I vacuum seal any meat that already isn’t vac packed. Very little freezer burn that way. A tip-When vac packing the premade/cut bags just seem to seal better than ones I cut myself from the rolls. It also saves time because you’re not sealing both ends. My machine often shuts off because the sealer gets too hot.

@RapSheet As a NY Giants fan, if he plays and tears up his knee I’ll shed tears for what the giants could’ve been next year. Not to mention the fact the young man would lose many, many millions of dollars. Can’t fault the guy for not playing in a meaningless game.

@ChefGruel I always microplane ginger but never bother to peel the skin off. I also store it in the freezer and microplane it frozen and throw whatever I don’t use back in the freezer. Not sure your thoughts on this but I’ve done it for years and it all works well for me.
