@SuzannahNichol@JulieDDrill Suzannah, time for you to be posting on the blu sky place. Lots of people aren’t going to be here much longer but still want to hear your voice.
@CitySamuel@thetimes Excellent article - thank you for highlighting issue when APR has had the spotlight. Was director of FBUK for 9 years and every two years we had to re-explain BPR benefit to growth to new cohort in treasury. Without it family business restrict size to not land nextG with IHT bill
Almost exclusively on Bluesky now, but returning occasionally to.... persuade you to give it a go too. For UK people it functions pretty well as early Twitter. Those follower numbers you like here I'd suggest are not entirely real; many dormant or steered away by the algorithm
@j_amesmarriott Lots to see in Budapest. Excellent reasonably priced food. Recommend going to some of the diploma concerts at the Liszt Academy followed by a beer in one of the ruin bars.
@HeleneBismarck British - I’m mainly English but with Northern Irish and French ancestry. Irish wife and have lived in Europe. Support English sports teams but dislike the nationalistic connotations and that can come with 🏴
What a moment. From @Fred_Mills' spare room to 3M subs, 24M monthly viewers, a team of 14 people and millions seeing the true impact of #construction.
Thanks to everyone that got us here. We love construction, and we're not stopping until the whole world loves it too ✊
Tobias Ellwood, Tory MP said on the ITV Peston show last night "nobody wants a second referendum" on Brexit.
Would you welcome a second referendum on Brexit?
(feel free to share as always)
@Samfr As for food, as you might expect there is a wide variety with lots of veggie options. More traditionally, Brauhaus Georgbrau was enjoyably Germanic and had excellent beer.
@Samfr Stayed in the Westin Grand hotel last October. It’s very central and has fabulous rooms. Also there’s the Jason Bourne connection if that interests you. If you like art the Gemaldegalerie and the Alte National Galerie are both excellent. Cycle tour is also recommended.
@AuschwitzMuseum This is the most important account I follow and deserves far more than 1.3M followers. Otilie was born in the same year as my mother. What might her children have become?
24 June 1922 | A Czech Jewish woman, Otilie Adlerová, was born in Usti nad Labem.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from the ghetto in #Theresienstadt on 15 December 1943. She did not survive.
