@Andrew_Rotondi Congratulations!

@AlanHerson @BronxPinstripes Hi Alan! Just double checked and Gordon passed away in 1978 after suffering a heart attack. I believe the Yankee who was killed in the NJ train accident was George Stirnweiss. Hope this helps!

@BronxPinstripes I was a teenager living in the Philadelphia area when they won in 2009...as a diehard Yankee fan going to school with diehard Phillies fans, ‘09 was especially sweet. That being said, I think ‘96 would have been my favorite if I had been old enough to truly appreciate it.

@ilovemypastime @BronxPinstripes There’s a pretty funny section of this book that addresses the connection between Yogi Bear and Yogi Berra. Apparently Berra was very critical of the cartoon character lol

@BryanHoch @BronxPinstripes The pleasure was all mine! I look forward to checking out the updated edition as well!

@djosauthorized @BronxPinstripes The please was all ours! Thanks for giving the Yankee community a great book!

@hitman2385 @BronxPinstripes But I don't want to downplay the fact that Torre definitely had serious questions about A-Rod's attitude. Like you said, Joe clearly had issues with the way that Alex carried himself. Thanks for the input!

[Andrew Salzone @AndrewSalzone]

@hitman2385 @BronxPinstripes I think that's a very valid point. Perhaps soft spot is a bit too optimistic of an assessment. I wanted to convey the idea that Torre's view of A-Rod wasn't entirely negative (as you said, he definitely had respect for Alex's work ethic).

@DavidTheGeek2 @Andrew_Rotondi Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll add them to my list!
