Last night, a packed Pete Hanna Stadium echoed with thousands of student voices lifted in praise to Jesus. ๐
Thank you, @unite__us for a night we'll never forget!
We will not cower. We will not be silenced.
More than ever, we have to Make America Talk Again - and that starts at colleges!

Please join the Samford community as we pray for the Marsh family: Sarah Marsh, the 8-year-old daughter of Samford University assistant professor Patrick Marsh, is among those who lost their lives in a flash flood July 4 at Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas. https://t.co/6fZbr5OHKX
On this National Collegiate Day of Prayer, we pause to seek the Lord together. For 183 years, He has sustained Samford, and we pray He continues to guide and strengthen us. May His light shine in and through us.

Welcome home, Bulldogs! Thousands of students arrived on campus this week, each with a unique story. Together they make up the heartbeat of Samford University. We've been thinking of you, praying for you and are thrilled to welcome you home. ๐ #SamfordUniversity
For the past two weeks I attended Summit Ministries camp in CO. I ended it with a run up the Manitou Incline which has 2,768 steps straight up. Ran it in 30 mins. The look on my face says it all.
I applaud anyone that is all in. The kids that take every ounce of knowledge from every coach available. The ones that understand there is something to gain from the ones that have been there before you. The ones that know you can be selfish for yourself and also selfless for your team. The ones that show up everyday knowing they may not get to ever run out of a tunnel for their team.
I applaud the ones that give everything to something that is not guaranteed.
I held this picture back until today. Pain can be one of the biggest motivators.
I know a lot of these young men are feeling some sort of pain today- and it takes an immense amount of courage to say Iโll get back at it tomorrow and do it all over again for another chance next year.
As hard as it is to look at, this is a picture that says more than I could ever describe.
