@theTiser is someone going to PLEASE write a column on the ridiculous bombshell from @marshall_steven about requiring each and every SA LGA to hit 80% vax rate before opening up, rather than the state as a whole? You cannot create ‘equity’ in vaccination uptake rates!!
@AnnastaciaMP @VirginAustralia Palaszczuk (pal-ush-chook) your behaviour throughout the pandemic has been disgusting, to be perfectly honest. I’ll visit QLD again once you accept the realities of our endemic future, open borders to all and start acting like an Australian rather than playing God. Cheers from SA
@TheCalebBond@penbo@australian@JanetAlbrechtsn can someone please call out this statement by @marshall_steven as idiocy? We need the media to ask these questions and expose ridiculous statements by Premiers for what they are. We are DONE once we hit 80%

Yeah, way to go @marshall_steven and CHO Spurrier. Punishing the majority who have complied and shouldered the burden of risk for the greater good, to protect the selfish few who won’t. Seems totally equitable to me 😡
Save your equity virtue signalling!
Open Completely By Xmas.
@TheCalebBond@marshall_steven ‘Equity in vaccine deployment’ means equal access to free vaccines to all eligible people. We already have this! If people have elected to not receive the vaccine by December, that is stupidity aka their right to choose. Don’t punish the majority to protect the selfish minority
@TheCalebBond Ridiculous. No major city on earth yet reached an average of 80% vaccination across every suburb, council area etc? Certain LGAs in Adelaide will never get 80% due to demographics, you won’t be able to change that.@marshall_steven SA families ripped apart by borders will be irate
@halil_mustafa@NSWHealth@GladysB It’s absolutely above and beyond. Continuing to care for you post-discharge by providing a pulse oximeter and guidelines on self assessment, enabling you to seek care if necessary rather than washing their hands of you once you’re out of inpatient care. No obligation to do so…
@halil_mustafa@NSWHealth@GladysB@halil_mustafa let me guess… the government offered you a highly effective vaccine for free - you refused, thus became seriously ill, received free first class hospital care for 5 days costing taxpayers thousands, and follow up 02 monitoring at home. So much to complain about.
@theTiser@andrew_hough Ongoing quarantine policy is the elephant in the room and no-one is asking any questions. Are we all really so blind as to focus on 80% and believe this will change anything if all international travel will be ‘permitted’ but deemed high risk?
@theTiser@andrew_hough it’s great to hear the positive news about SA’s projected dates for 70% and 80% vaccination. Let’s hope it holds to be accurate! But when will the media and public start to ask what quarantine requirements look like once 80% is reached?
@theTiser@andrew_hough this deserves to be a matter of public debate, just as the decision to prevent us leaving the country should have been. We deserve to know what pathway is being pursued, such that we may decide to emigrate and get on with our lives NOW in Europe or Canada
