A huge congratulations to our development team for winning at the Wales Property Awards last night.

The team won the Sustainability Award for their work with @JGHConstruction to create some of Wales' most environmentally friendly homes at our County Flats re-development.

[Tai Tarian @TaiTarian]

Building new sustainable homes in our communities is at the heart of what we do.

Margam, Neath, Sandfields, Cwmafan and Port Talbot will all benefit from new Tai Tarian homes in the next couple of years.

💣The #IPCC #ClimateChange report has just been published and it's described as 'a survival guide for humanity to defuse the climate time-bomb.' The report is clear: we must respect the 1.5°C limit to survive.

Great morning at our Riverside Court complex in Pontardawe, where we helped @ProjectOrchard establish a brand new community orchard through planting fruit trees.

Looking forward to seeing these grow over the coming years and sampling the apples, pears and plums.

[Chris Stark @StarkClimate]

Well put.

An interesting fortnight ahead.

The last few finishing touches at County Flats phase 1.
This development has been our biggest & most innovative to date so we feel a tad emosh that residents will start moving in this week👏

Wow - Germany is planning €13bn in subsidies per year to upgrade homes & decarbonise heat. This comes alongside planned bans on the installation of new gas and oil heating systems.

My important climate conversation with @ChiefExecCCC Chris Stark. How to think about corporate NetZero? What does 1.5c mean ? Why 2c. is still on the table? Adaptation strategy. Current policy ideas and debates. https://t.co/EisXOQBrHi

The question now is when will Johnson be held accountable for this?

The April price cap announced today is significantly lower than January’s, but with consumers currently protected by the EPG, it is not the falling cap that households should be concerned with, but the rising rate of the government scheme.

As it's National Apprenticeship Week, we've been to chat with Anastacia, who joined us last year as a plumbing #apprentice.

Gaining her apprenticeship will see her fulfil a dream of becoming a plumber and allow her to follow in her families footsteps...

We've written to UK and Scottish Ministers today to offer advice on improvements to the rating metrics used on domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
EPC ratings are an important policy tool for reducing emissions, but they're not fit for purpose
