Didn’t have the race I’d hoped for after a puncture on the bike. Still happy with a 5:10 bike split. Ended up overheating on the run as temperatures reached 36 degrees and walked a lot of it.Glad to have finished but disappointed with the result.

@danielnagel Not many. I used a disc last year and instantly regretted it. It is a hilly course and can be very windy. If you only have space for two wheels in your luggage I would recommend something a bit shallower.

90km into 180km of the bike @ironmantri #Switzerland on Sunday. Sadly it wasn’t meant to be my day. I’ve decided to give it another crack in 5 weeks time in Tenby. Back where it all started! Time to get my head down for a few weeks to maintain fitness and work on running form.

@FlySWISS Hi Thierry, yes we were booked onto the 2030 Geneva -> Zurich flight. Amid cancelled and delayed flights, we had an extraordinary long day of travelling and our trip has been cut short - very disappointed with the @FlySWISS service we received.

@FlySWISS Now stranded in Geneva after the @FlySWISS rearranged flight was delayed resulting in missing the connecting flight. @FlySWISS info desk is unstaffed and passengers left clueless! Worst airline ever!!
