NHL fans in Indianapolis have no broadcaster audio for Game 1 of the Stanely Cup Final. Here's how the first goal sounded on WRTV with only the in-arena sound.
“I love playing here, I love the fans. They’ve stuck with me through a lot of hard years.”
Kirby Dach chats with @sportsnetkyle following the Canadiens’ Game 3 win.

The ESPN just did not make the crowd sound like this. The pops from this crowd are incredible. If you had to watch the national broadcast, sound up to hear the THUNDER get louder each time…
I want to hate him for leaving.
I just can’t though. He’s a real one.
Drew was the best of us when he was here. What we all should aspire to be.
But Sean really was one of us. Still is.
Anyway, my thoughts a day later are this…. After I had time to sleep on it
I like, don’t love, Liam Greentree the prospect. He has potential to be a middle 6, power forward, goal scoring complimentary wing
He also isn’t a sure thing but any stretch and the Rangers know how to ruin development, this probably wasn’t the best place to be traded to for Greentrees career. I’ll go over more of his pros and flaws when I do my Top 10 Rangers prospect list
The conditional 3rd and 4th seem very light considering there was an extension involved and you retained half, even if Panarin held all the cards. Giroux held all the cards when he went to FLA and still got a 1st, and there wasn’t even an extension involved.
I would’ve took Greentree and a 1st(even with conditions) as a relative comp to Tippett and a 1st even if Tippett was probably better than Greentree
Drury most likely overplayed his hand here. Sending the letter, announcing to the world Panarin extension was off the table, holding Panarin out, and giving himself a hard deadline of the roster freeze.
It got to the point where teams know YOU had to trade him and knew you didn’t want to go into the break with him rostered still, on top of him holding all the leverage.
On top of everything, the extension being 2 x 11 makes this harder to swallow. I guess we don’t know technically know if Panarin would’ve accepted that here but I don’t see why not. He clearly wanted to be here.
You can’t run around your press conferences doubling down on this “isn’t a rebuild” after this trade
Ranger fans are upset, and they have a right to be. This organization feels directionless right now.

Thoughts and Grades on the Panarin Deal:
Grade: D+
Chris Drury backed himself into a corner, I’m not sure what the need was to release a letter and tell the whole league you have no interest in winning games. If Panarin tells you, it’s Kings or bust, and the Kings completely remove a 1st from the table. Why don’t you re-visit an extension for him, especially if it’s just 2 years?
You just hired Sullivan, signed Vlad to a big deal, you have Fox/Igor/JT/Zibs on unmovable deals. You went into the season with an intention to win, why not at least kick the bucket down the road and see if you can fix this team - move Schneider for assets/sign or trade for someone/draft someone in Top 10. Worse comes to worse, you revisit this next season. It would of been hard to get a lighter package for Panarin at any point
I’m all for a full rebuild but you need to act like that now… got to start moving pieces, if you are willing to take .50 on the dollar for Panarin, do it for everyone and get these forever contracts off the team
Now as far as the return goes, Liam Greentree is a solid prospect. Power forward winger with a big shot. Not a player driver or creator but can be a nice complimentary piece. 119 points in 64 games for Windsor in 24-25, started slow in 25-26 but 11 points in last 7 games. He’s a projected NHLer Middle 6, who’s already signed to a ELC. He scores goals
The 3rd Round Pick can potentially turn into a 2nd if LA wins a playoff series, pick will be in Top 100. So that’s an extra Top 100 pick, ideally this would be a conditional 2nd that can turn into a 1st but somehow couldn’t get that
It’s not a good return by Drury, it was bad process to eliminate an extension before seeing the potential return. But this needs to be the start of a full blown tear down. Also had to retain half, also the extension wasn’t much at all. He was in a corner due to NMC, but Panarin wanted to extend so… mixed emotions
