@MacBelts I have to say this is rather incredible - some how a cable cut affects Uganda - but doesn't have any impact in Kenya. Does Kenya have magic smoke signals? Come on - people aren't that stupid. The countries are served by the same sub-sea cables.

Just as a note the terms and conditions in clause 10 also make reference to the transfer of moral rights. This, to my layman’s understanding, is a violation of article 6 of the Berne Convention, to which Kenya is a signatory
