When discussing a person's ethnicity it encompasses their biological and cultural heritage. So referring to Nicholas Galitzine's Greek heritage IS relevant in the above conversation about the 'Greekness' of actors cast in the Odyssey. Yes, Galitzine is a British citizen, but a person's nationality doesn't erase their roots. 🇬🇷🏴
Vogue Williams has criticised Steven Bartlett for revealing HIS body reacted negatively from drinking a relatively modest amount of alcohol - affecting his ability to work and sleep. Imagine, if he criticised her for HER pms symptoms! To be fair to her, the additional context is that he suffers from ADHD and this can make a person more sensitive to alcohol's impairing effects. Nicolas Cage’s new movie Madden is a biopic of legendary NFL coach John Madden. But looking at the stills… I’m beginning to think the movie should be called Woss. He is the spitting image of UK presenter Jonathan Ross.
Gordon Brown has been welcomed back into the ranks of the Labour party. But is it just me or does it look like Rachel Reeves is officiating at the wedding of Keir Starmer to Gordon Brown?!

It’s not every day that one gets to listen to a former British Prime Minister recite from memory the opening passages of The Iliad in Ancient Greek, with no notes, in response to a random question from an undergraduate—and all while wearing what appear to be Thomas The Tank Engine socks. But today was one such day.
My thanks to my good friend Brad LaMorgese for the opportunity to see the colorful and comic Boris Johnson speak tonight at the University of Dallas.
That the Royal Navy may not reach Cyprus and the Middle-East for two weeks is the surest signal yet that Keir Starmer is a reactive PM and not strategic with his decision-making process.

It's now been ten hours since the Bondi Beach terrorist attack in Australia. And despite reporting on a number of different people calling it a terrorist attack including King Charles and the Sydney Police - the BBC is still referring to it as a shooting. Now there is journalistic caution as you wait to establish the facts, and there is a wilful suppression of facts. In prioritising sensitivity over transparency, the BBC appears to be downplaying the incident's true nature, at the direct cost of journalistic integrity and public trust.

When you realise that the BBC Panorama edit of the President Trump 'fight' clip, exposed by The Telegraph, is literally a real-life, non-cartoon version of the interview from The Simpsons S6E9, 'Homer Badman.'

This has got to be a spoof, come on?! Taking lyrics from a Destiny’s Child song from the nineties and using it as a sociological forecast of changes in society relating to sex and gender roles: “Beyonce said so, in no uncertain terms… the song gets to the heart of masculinity… triflin'!” Its deliberate absurdity is reminiscent of Newman and Baddiel. When’s the next one?

When you have a high profile popular talk show host like Jimmy Kimmel crying because the person he voted for didn’t win, or filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza calling the party he didn’t vote for ‘evil,’ whether accidentally or intentionally, they are pushing the narrative to their audiences that one political party is pure good and the other party is absolute evil. Such strong views risk fuelling division that can lead to tragedy. This is a subversion of the democratic process and vulnerable audiences will infer that people with different views should be shut down at any cost.
Whatever your thoughts on Charlie Kirk and his often controversial politics, he championed dialogue across divides. This escalating rhetoric from celebrities and politicians on all sides, including lazy Hitler comparisons, is not only dishonest, it erodes our open society’s core: free speech. It’s time for influential people in US politics to recognise that their rhetoric has consequences and to unite in defence of free speech - even for those they disagree with.

The Telegraph has an exclusive interview with Lucy Connolly. She states Keir Starmer’s attitude is “if you are bothered about children being murdered, you’re Right-wing. You know, you’re far-right.”

Well, that escalated quickly. I knew the Musk-Trump friendship was doomed but I didn't know it would end so soon and descend into such acrimony.
