New York Democrats have declared WAR ON THE AMISH. Thanks to their unconstitutional attack on religion, they're now able to fine EACH unvaccinated Amish child $2,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY.

The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each.

Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance.

Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23.

Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10.

Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine.

Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill.

Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money.

They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County.

Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force.

A parent may not excuse a child for faith.

Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage.

Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state.

The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026.

A Supreme Court petition was due around September 28.

Unions are Destroying Washington

The massive coffers of unions are a never ending source of funding for Washington State Democrats and leftists policies.

Unions heavily favor one side of the aisle, with public-sector unions directing roughly 95.8% of their state-level political donations directly to Democratic candidates.

This financial concentration disenfranchises anyone who isn’t a pro-union, far-left crony.

According to data from the Commonwealth Foundation, the nation's four largest public-sector unions poured $915 million into the 2024 political cycle, with Washington emerging as the third-highest state for these expenditures, absorbing $18.6 million in union political funds.

This lopsided funding creates a profound hurdle for any opposing parties or policies

Polling consistently shows that roughly 40% to 50% of union members do not actually identify as Democrats. Despite this. virtually all member dues and political action committee allocations funnel into progressive campaigns, effectively silencing the political voice of hundreds of thousands of conservative, independent, and moderate workers.

This overwhelming financial advantage creates an uneven playing field that extends far beyond the union membership itself, impacting the broader electorate in Washington State.

Because Washington ranks fifth in the nation for union membership density, these heavily funded union-sponsored groups frequently command spots as the state’s top lobbying entities and independent expenditure committees.

At the federal level, OpenSecrets data shows that overall union campaign spending consistently benefits Democrats at an 87%rate, rising to a near-total 98.8% for the "Big Four" public union PAC contributions.

For voters on the opposite side of the political spectrum, this means that local and state elections are deeply influenced by a highly coordinated financial engine that dilutes the impact of individual grassroots donations.

The symbiotic relationship between labor leadership and Olympia lawmakers reinforces a cycle where unified Democratic governance is continually sustained by institutional wealth, leaving center-right and conservative voters structurally excluded from meaningful political representation in their own state.

The crew members are union and make anywhere from $157,000 to over $300,000 if they work over time, per the WSDOT.

But they are performing a sick out- or illegal strike because they know Washington government will bend over to the unions and give them what they want, whether it’s legal or not.

Public employee unions need to be banned. There is no reason for them to exist other than to be slush funds for Democrats.

We are quietly isolating an entire generation of older people from society, and nobody seems to give a damn.

I took my 84-year-old grandfather to his local bank branch on Friday.

The exact same brick-and-mortar branch where he opened his first account in 1978.

We pull up to the front doors. They’re locked.

Inside is an empty lobby with a small sign: “Cashless Service Hub.”

A young guy in a polo shirt opens the door and tells us:

“We don't handle teller deposits or paper checks here anymore. You just need to download the mobile portal and scan your routing number.”

My grandfather pulls out an old flip phone with a cracked screen and a paper pension check from his coat pocket.

His hands were visibly shaking.

The employee just shrugs.

“You can do it on an iPad, or have a family member manage the app for you.”

This man worked forty-two years in a manufacturing plant. Paid his taxes. Fought for this country.

And now he is made to feel completely useless and stripped of his dignity because he doesn't own an iOS device.

Tech isn't making life easier if it completely locks out the people who built the world we’re living in.

I’m at Superior Court in Thurston county listening to arguments for and against SB5974 before the judge rules.

A majority of the arguments are regarding “hate groups” affiliation.

An example of a hate group, and this should scare every one of you, is if you belong to a house of worship that has a “traditional position” on genders.

You heard that correctly. If you belong to a church who knows there are only two genders, you belong to a hate group.

There’s one shitty thing about losing tons of weight after quitting a gender transition:

I am now just beginning to see, visually, how much breast binding has disfigured my upper body.

I’ve been able to *feel* the damage and disfigurement the whole time; not only to my breasts, but to my ribs, spine, nerves, skin, breathing and tissue. I have zero erogenous sensation in my chest. None. I’ve felt these things for a long time, even since quitting breast binding about three years ago

But as I lose these last few pounds, I expect that I will have to truly contend with the choices I made at far too young of an age, starting in middle school, to alter my upper body in order to “pass” as the sex I am not. I was told by activists online that breast binding is totally safe and reversible. I was even told this by a doctor.

But breast binding is NOT safe. It does not do reversible damage. That is a lie.

It’s actually quite jarring to see my asymmetrically flared ribs through my shirt. But I think I’m beginning to get a clearer picture of mechanically what all has gone wrong. Without as much fat covering them, side sleeping is becoming a total nightmare.

Anyways, here’s me trying to make the best of an unfortunate situation, by doing what I always do; skating!

Repost if you’ve read this until the end. I hope to potentially reach a young woman or her parents, who may think that breast binding is totally harmless exploration.

TLDR: it isn’t. They’re lying to you.
