Ok everyone. Charter review in 56 minutes. Join us at the Pierce County Annex or join us on-line. Give your two minute speech.
Mrs Sheriff will be there speaking tonight. You'll want to hear what she says.
Remember, we have a county to save. See you there!
@GovBobFerguson & @AGOWA - Your advocates, including the ACLU, continue defending the policy of housing biological males, including those with rape and murder convictions, in women’s prisons even as the DOJ investigates.
Surely you both know how crazy this policy is?
Bob - You were the AG when this became policy, right? Why did you allow it? What is your stance now?
I'll refresh your memory: When you were AG the Washington Department of Corrections policy allowing transgender, intersex, and non-binary inmates to request “gender-affirming” housing (DOC Policy 490.700) and was implemented by the Department of Corrections itself. It became effective on February 13, 2020.
I’ll top that with reality: the victims of this policy are the biological women inmates. They are not lab rats for gender ideology experiments. Women inmates are not playthings for men pretending to be women!
Women’s prisons exist to house female inmates. Separate units inside men’s facilities can hold transgender-identifying male inmates.
Receipts in first reply.
Tomorrow, 06/03/2026, 6:00 PM, the Pierce County Charter Review Commission will have a meeting at the Pierce County Annex (2401 S. 35th Street, Tacoma).
We need to show up in large numbers, and EVERYONE needs to speak for their allotted 2 minutes.
The ONLY way to stop the crazy amendments from being passed is to use up all their meeting time with community comments.
Bring your family. Tell your friends and neighbors to show up. Make sure they speak for their two minutes.
Don’t let them opt out. We have a county to save.
