Something so satisfying about this manโs refusal to take the bait with the usual leading questions on migration. Just calmly & stubbornly fair-minded, straightforward, no nonsense answers in a perfect Wexford accent right in the middle of the town. 10/10

28 miles out to sea, a yacht with a lost propeller was taking on water. Our volunteer crew @LizardRNLI arrived on scene & quickly assessed they'd have to tow it to Falmouth. @FalmouthRNLI arrived in support & the casualty was safely delivered to shore.
Hereโs prime Occy switched to natural stance to either make your Monday morning better or worse. Is this disrespectful to the goofy king ๐คฃ?

Our crews saved 108 lives in the English Channel in 2022. Although mass casualty events are thankfully a small part of our lifesaving work, we've been innovating to save lives if they happen.

Stunning and devastating opening from Newsnight tonight.
Harsh, yes. Media students (and current broadcast journalists!) take note: your edit is nothing without the right choice of music. And oh boy this is quite the choice.
