The Lizard Lifeboat

The Lizard RNLI lifeboat station is manned by volunteers and responds to maritime emergencies off the south Cornwall coast.

The RNLI Mullion Island Open Water Swim is a one mile open water sea swim around the Mullion Island on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall.
All money raised will go towards supporting our Volunteer Lifeboat Crews and Seasonal Lifeguards.

Weather & operations permitting, RNLB Rose is due to launch on exercise tomorrow evening - Tues 26th May at 6.30pm. Our Visitor Centre and Gift Shop will be also open.

The RNLI has today released its rescue figures for 2025, revealing its lifeboat crews saved a total of 272 lives last year. Here @LizardRNLI we are proud to announce that our crews launched on service a total of 22 times during 2025, aiding 16 people. 🛟
