@abdulhamid_kuta If always feels we are either a season ahead or behind in our planning/thinking.
But you are right we don't move like other clubs.
How we didn't bring in another right winger while Mo was still at the club is beyond me.
@AdewoluAre I don't think one more signing makes any difference at this point, especially with the level we are looking at.
But probably RB, right winger, DM in that order.
@Progress_Lfc It all feel too late already.
Even if we some how sell Gakpo and bring in three others - we still have to bed in all these new players.
Unlikely before the season has past us by.
@AnfieldRoadL04 But it's isn't is it?
We have no idea if those prices are doable either way. Plus the extra costs.
And we don't see the balance sheet and have make it work for the financial regs.
@IraolaCore@AnfieldRoadL04 But it isnt that easy is it? We have no idea if those players are available to buy or sell and at those prices. Plus agents fees, sign on fees, wages etc.
We also aren't the ones who have to balance financial regs. Sure might get the cash but that isn't how its accounted for!
@ScouseRepublic I agree re Cody in June.
But it isnt June, we may have a replacement in the left wing for him but its looking less and less likely we getting anyone else.
Let alone what we need. So right now I'd keep him.
@AnfieldAgenda An injured Minteh at ยฃ80m is eye watering.
At this point I'd rather we played players out of postion that spend the huge fees on what's available.
Maybe Minteh six weeks ago and fully fit but even then not at 80m!
@Corballyred I agree I'd rather we spend a season playing people out of postion than Sarr, especially at the prices being mentioned.
Either way one more signing isnt going to patch up our squad and sort out the mess behind.
@Corballyred This is the worrying thing about Barcola - people will be excited, mainly because it's taken ages to get over the line.
But when the reality hit it may be less exciting.
@Sutton1322@_LFCLOYAL_ But at the same time he is replacing Salah.
No one thought we would buy an exact replacement and thought we rebuild the forward line.
But to be at the start of the season and have one new winger is shocking.
@brandthe1st@_LFCLOYAL_ People aren't brainless, we know he isn't isnt/won't replace Salah's output. No one was expecting like for like.
But as a RW winger he is literally Salah's replacement. We don't have RW otherwise.
@PattersonRalph@KTL_LFC He is injured - coming into a sqaud full of injured or soon to be returning players.
I think it's OK to want a sqaud ready at the start of the season.
