@deancollins @Leine08055323 @aliceleung The same? Take away the parent fees and THEN give the voucher amount. Or, maybe if this is a negative number, tax the private school that amount…

Amazingly proud of the musicality and sense of teamwork Vivaldi Strings and Margaret Sutherland Chamber Orchestra demonstrated at the Daintree Primary Proms on Wednesday evening - Sydney Town Hall.

Senior State Wind Band - over in 4 days, with 2 performances at the Sydney Opera House. Our BGHS representative Sophie played wonderfully and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Bravo to Steve Williams and Ben Peche - awesome direction!

Burwood GHS Ensemble Program music camp 2022. An enthusiastic and happy group!

[Andy Del Riccio @AndyDel3]

So pleased band is back! Almost 50 in attendance, out playing in a group for the first time in 8 months, some MUCH longer. Fantastic effort to pick it up again and work so well together.

So happy it wasn’t a beach day today! Managed to get paperwork, parent update, lesson plans and a pile of new instrument hires completed (just add 2 cellos and 3 double basses) Getting it done - Burwood Ensemble Program!

Wonderful Welcome Day for new yr7 musicians at BGHS. Thanks to tutors, staff, Tamzin and the school for supporting music in our schools.

Directives for return to school look to allow music activities again! Terrific news for the BEP. Now I’d the time to get those enrolments in!

2022. The year music is heard again!

@kylie_hedger My subject colleague and I thought a lot of this through late lat year… everything is done online. No resources at all are left hardcopy, so we could cope with suddenly going to remote learning - and vice versa.

We both expected to be blindsided by such a decision as this.

[Andy Del Riccio @AndyDel3]

Must find a better background!

[Andy Del Riccio @AndyDel3]

Musicians from BGHS Ensemble Program are getting into the spirit of remote music making (with the mute button to ON). So proud of their dedication!

@daskkiphil Advice has changed for school activities this afternoon, about the same time as email etc went down for maintenance. For music, no change.
