First, Virginia Democrats vote to give themselves a substantial pay raise. Then they push taxes on nearly every service under the sun, taking away your hard earned money to pay for the increase in their own salaries. Now they are abusing the constitutional process to redraw congressional lines to benefit  themselves and to give their cronies in Washington DC more power, undermining fair representation and eliminating the voice of millions of Virginians. That’s not putting you first. That’s not putting people over politics.

After that - No recess, no adjournment, no potty breaks until every single one of @POTUS @realDonaldTrump ‘s nominations for federal offices and judicial vacancies receives a confirmation vote.

Do your job or step down and turn leadership over to someone who is not cowardly or corrupt and who puts America First.

Our Nation and the @GOP deserve so much better.

If you want to understand why so many on the right appear to be embracing ideas that previously seemed antithetical to the conservative tradition in America, it is because they have found such traditions wanting when it came to protecting their values and culture.

The result is predictable.

If the people that are supposed to protect your way of life fail to do so, you begin to look for different people.

If everyone you pick fails, you begin to look for different ideas.

Too many on the right decided that no hill was worth dying on. They engaged in endless compromise with people who hated them and hated America.

This has led a new generation to conclude that if nothing in the conservative tradition was worth fighting for, then it's time to look toward other traditions.

The thing is…I do believe our traditions are worth fighting for. But don't expect people to believe you for saying it. You have to prove it, not only by fighting…but by winning.

And wining begins with first understanding that you're in a fight with something that wants to destroy you.

That's is what conservatives need to wake up to.

We’ve known this for years now. This is not something new. What are you going to do about it? If your answer is nothing but continue to whine on Fox News and hold meaningless investigations that go nowhere and hold no one accountable, then you are part of the problem not the solution.

What a waste of money and resources for something very few people in the city want, and is not needed. Bike lanes are an impediment to the flow of traffic and hardly ever used by any bikers. All of this time money and inconvenience just to make a few climate do-gooders feel good about themselves. We deserve so much better from our city leadership.
