A landmark Finnish study has found a sharp rise in psychiatric illness among adolescents following sex-alteration procedures.
The peer-reviewed study, published in Acta Paediatrica, tracked every young person under 23 who contacted Finland's gender clinics between 1996 and 2019.
A total 2,083 individuals were studied, with 16,643 matched controls. They were followed for up to 25 years.
Finland's health registers are mandatory, which means no one opts out — this is the complete national picture.
The numbers: psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% in adolescents who underwent feminising reassignment, and from 21.6% to 54.5% in masculinising reassignment.
Even after adjusting for prior psychiatric history, gender-referred adolescents faced five times the risk of male population controls, and three times the risk of female controls.
"Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment," the authors concluded.
Referrals after 2010 arrived sicker. 47.9% had already needed psychiatric treatment before their first clinic visit, against 15.3% among controls.
The authors' read: for some adolescents, gender distress may be secondary to other mental health challenges.
The evidence keeps mounting. The silencing continues anyway.
How many more adolescents will be told this is "care"?
For the leftists…you didn't “affirm their gender” you affirmed a disorder, made it their entire identity, and then carved them up to suit your perverse ideology.
It is SHAMEFUL that leftist ideologues are gaslighting parents by falsely claiming these abuses haven’t been happening in America’s schools – when for years they ALLOWED them.
After four and a half years and the biggest fight of my life, I am home.
I could not have done it without each and every person who stood beside me, spoke my name when I couldn’t speak for myself, shared my story, challenged what was wrong, and simply refused to give up on me.
Thank you.
I am grateful.
To my friends and family. To the thousands of people in our 2A community. To every Second Amendment organization that fought for me, supported me, and refused to let my case be forgotten. To all the journalists who told my story, including @HT_GunWriter. To my legal team, @fuddbusters and @WelchWrightLaw, who stepped up when the full might of the federal government was crushing me.
To the six members of Congress who stood with me when it mattered most: @RepEliCrane , @RepEricBurlison, @RepJenKiggans , @RepBresnahan , @RepWebster, and @RepGosar.
To the leaders in the administration who helped make this possible. And, last but certainly not least, to President Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump for intervening and giving me my life back.
There are so many more people I need to thank personally—people who helped, encouraged, prayed, fought, called, wrote, shared, donated, opened doors, or simply refused to let me disappear.
I could never name everyone in one post, because there are too many. But please know this: I remember you, and I will never forget what you did for me.
I am humbled. I am grateful.
And I am home with my family.
What happened to me should frighten every law-abiding gun owner, because it can happen to anyone.
And there are others.
The work has just begun.
Leftwing media and activists deny secret transitions are happening in schools, but this only enables school personnel who engage in these schemes to continue harming impressionable children.
The Trump Administration is determined to stand with parents and uphold their rights under federal law.
Parents should NEVER be kept in the dark about transgender-related medical decisions involving their children.
When the state tries to step in between parents and their children, parents deserve their day in court to challenge that attempt to undermine their basic parental rights.
This week, the Department of Justice filed a merits-stage amicus brief in the Supreme Court, arguing that parents have standing to sue when the state tries to circumvent their control over what medical services their child may access.
Parenting belongs to parents—not the state. And when the state tries to seize the role of a parent, parents should be able to sue to defend their constitutional right to decide how best to raise their own children.

This seemed absurd, so I decided to see if I could remake it with the GSS for the 2020 election.
You can for most states, and it mostly matches the other map:
People with four grandparents here are solidly Republican, but not quite so Republican as you might think.
Got an early start this morning getting out the vote by waving good morning to folks in VA 05 on their way to work.
Tomorrow is the first day of early voting in Virginia.
The last day to vote is November 3.
This midterm it is common sense vs. crazy.
Republicans have
NEW: A House Judiciary report just dropped screenshots of ActBlue's internal Slack messages.
They show staff knowingly waved through foreign donations—using "verification" methods you won't believe.

There's a special "extended scale" switch you have to use on your Evil Meter to properly measure the people who quite obviously deliberately provoked a copycat trend of mothers murdering their own kids.
To what end? What goal is worth doing that for?
Our language and vocabulary around all things reproduction is so terrible once you really think about it.
Birth control. How dystopian.
Use protection. Use protection against what exactly? Who do we need to protect ourselves from? Our future children that are some sort of evil criminals? Protection? From what? Who?
Pregnancy scare. The idea that the existence of another human being is so sort of reason to be frightened
Safe sex. Aka deliberately infertile sex as if fertility is the thing that makes sex unsafe
Birth control failed. Failed to do what? Allow the body to the one of the most natural biological tasks?
Unwanted pregnancy? An action whose entire basic biological purpose is reproductive produces reproduction and we call it unwanted, an accident.
Terminate the pregnancy. Oh it’s not big deal we’re just terminating the contract a lil bit earlier ya know. Really no big deal here. Not like a human life is ended or anything really.
Products of conception. What’s that exactly?
Family planning. So funny when it usually just means we are planning on limiting any family.
And mind you. I’m also guilty of using many of these terms. They are so imbedded into our every day lives that most of us never stop to really think about what they mean. But maybe we should.
Language is not just a way to describe what we are thinking, it is also the way we think. Nearly every single word we use for fertility, for pregancy and for children are all words that point to fear, failure, accident, inconvenience. So is it really that surprising that children are now seen the way they are? Is it really that surprising that we do not cherish our children? Is it really that shocking that children have become second class citizens?
We don’t even talk about dogs like this.

What should’ve been the third debate of this campaign, instead marks the third time my opponent’s political games have deprived 6th District voters from the opportunity to hear from candidates.

Last time VA Dems held the executive offices, they actually did let an execution-style cop-killer and many other violent offenders back on the streets with illegal moves by the Parole Board.
56 of them went on to violently re-offend, including a rapist who murdered his victim.
VCDL is waiting to pounce on that unconstitutional law. We just need someone with standing. Someone who is being sued by Mr. Two Bullets. If you know someone who is being sued under that law, let me know!
Given that the worst people in the world are suddenly super super interested in having regulatory control of AI, it seems imperative not to allow that to happen.
