@WalkerMarcus Wes Streeting was appointed to Andy Burnham's cabinet on the Lyndon Johnson tent principle (the full version uses words I would not quote to a priest).
Sorry to see you in such a militaristic mood. 2022 thinking. The military don't want us to adjust to the present day.
@bulkbiker Mark, the NHS send them out to everyone because catching bowel cancer early not only saves lives but also helps the NHS. They don't have to perform the big nasty ops and give you lots of chemo.
@bencsmoke@guardian even your courageous history does not excuse such a nasty and sectarian piece. If Burnham loses to Reform it is the whole left which will suffer. Thanks for confirming why - though I'm a left Labour member who supported Corbyn - I could never join the Greens.
@BritainElects This one is complicated. It's a two member ward and it split last May: Labour first and Reform second. The Reform councillor resigned. The losing candidates from May were against each other and Reform held. Stats difficult therefore but probably a small swing to Reform.
@pennycenturyy@guardianopinion And better than some about the binmen and the equal pay problem, but still making the old attacks on Birmingham Labour. Do you know how Birmingham council went down the hill? Anyone talked to you about local journalists? David Bell? Ed Doolan?
@kelvmackenzie Pics are from student areas where it's normal. Take you round them if you like. Profiteering landlords packing 9 bedrooms per terraced house. Main collections are still happening with contract + different union workers. No crisis yet. Quite impressed by the council's handling.
@TheProleStar Mis-read. Owen's talking about how people see the Palestinians not how they react.
Why do parts of the left attack one mass murderer but support another?
