In 2017,when @WHO had to select a new director general, China has very strongly lobbied for Dr. Tedros Adhanom. China had ensured England's David Nabarro wouldn't get appointed to the top position.
I feel whatever interest that he & China share should be investigated. #COVID19
@aravind My main criticism of our successive governments is their inability to build a global ecosystem by leveraging our diaspora. Countries with far fewer assets have achieved much more in this regard. The question remains: when will we finally wake up?
@JaipurDialogues Its allowed because Hindu's aren't told about the barbarism Bhindrawale committed against the Hindu community and the motherland. Thousands of Hindu killed and displaced by him and his followers yet no one dares to speak about it. Until that changes, nothing will change.
@aravind China sees India's global diaspora as a huge strength and is actively trying to neutralize it. By using social media disinformation and targeting universities, Beijing is working to exploit internal fault lines and quietly undermine India's interests abroad.
@LtGenDPPandey The likes of him and his leader Bhindranwale are a blot on humanity. The latter massacred Hindus in Punjab and collaborated with an enemy nation. Today, his followers are looking to do the same; the only difference is, this time they are teaming up with Islamists.
@Hardisohi China recognized India’s greatest soft power asset is its diaspora. To neutralize this, Beijing used a full spectrum of influence ops—heavily leveraging social media to fracture the community. Caught off-guard, India’s institutional framework struggled to counter the onslaught.
@delhatiia@ANI Forgot the bombing of Santoshi Mata temple? Or the Dhilwan bus massacre? Bhindranwale used the most holy faith of Sikhs as a weapon storage yard and hid inside because he could only target innocent beings but couldn’t face the security forces.
@ANI About time this false bravado is dismantled. Hindu’s should organise a similar sit down and remember those innocent Hindus who were massacred by the Bhindranwale and his followers. He created an atmosphere of fear in the country and worked against the motherland. He was a coward.
@LtGenDPPandey The US–India partnership is a marriage of convenience, much like the Russia–China bloc. The former aims to contain China; the latter seeks to contain America. It's strictly about shared strategic goals—we shouldn't be fooled by the rhetoric.
@kakar_harsha Terrorism and Pakistan remain inextricably linked. The primary goal of its civil and military leadership is to subjugate India into an Islamic state—an objective they openly acknowledge. It is India that remains in denial.
@VadaPav8@Brahamvakya The Kargil Review Committee proved the Army's winter post-vacation & MI failed, while BSF didn't lose a single post. BSF’s local intelligence was "by far the most superior," preventing intrusions where they stood, while Army commanders were caught napping about lost posts.

Today marks a landmark moment in the India-New Zealand partnership!
I am delighted that the India-New Zealand FTA signed today will add unprecedented momentum to our developmental partnership. It reflects the deep trust, shared values and ambition that bind our two nations.
This agreement will greatly benefit our farmers, youth, women, MSMEs, artisans, startups, students and innovators. It will open new avenues for growth, create opportunities and deepen our synergy across sectors.
The investment commitment of $20 billion by New Zealand will further strengthen our cooperation in agriculture, manufacturing, innovation and technology, paving the way for a more prosperous and dynamic future for both countries.

@vivekguptaa Couldn’t agree more. This was a life threatening situation for him and he should have stood up for himself. However, I can’t blame him as self defence is not given any importance in the Indian society. Him crying is only enabling his attackers.
Will definitely use this line from now if some westerner insists Alexander "defeated" King Paurava:
"LOL - your greatest conqueror in history shat his pants after barely defeating one of our random minor kings, and his army morale dropped so hard, it made him cry like a baby."
Btw, this king was so random and minor, he is not even mentioned in Indian sources.
- And he retained his kingdom after the war with Alexander.
- Not only that, Porus' kingdom was significantly expanded west after the war.
- Which was all annexed by Chandragupta Maurya later after Porus. Not the Greeks or their satraps.
- And Alexander forces mutinied declining to march further east.
My strong belief is that Greek sources made the defeat into "hard fought win", Porus retaining the kingdom into "Alexander reinstated him", and Porus expanding his kingdom significantly to the west as "Alexander gifted Porus land."
Only a fool will do all these. These claims (most of them conflicting even in Greek sources) were cherry picked and made into facts by modern western scholars for they could not accept a minor Indian king with his war elephants defeated Alexander.
Indian sources do not talk anything about this Alexander's war to the west of Indus not because they weren't recording (so many other great Indian literature was being created long before and around that time). But because the war was so minor by Indian standards and the invader was chased away quickly.
