Nathaniel Brown | 22 | Left Back | Frankfurt 🇩🇪
Role Archetype: LWB | Progressive Creator
He is an aggressive modern full-back. His profile is built around advancing play, supporting possession and contributing in the final third without sacrificing defensive intensity.
📊 u25 striker ability to create value pre- and post-reception
- npxG-xA received: the xG value of shots less the value of the location where the pass was received
- xThreat received: the value of "danger" received from open play passes and crosses
Not the full picture, but this gives a directionally solid picture of which strikers create value with movement before the reception, which strikers create value after the reception, and which do both.
@efctruth20802 That Christmas period is a real sliding doors moment. 2nd at Christmas and then collapsed to 10th?
The huge over spending crippled us. Mad when you look at Carlo’s interviews when he said Europe wasn’t the target, yet the budget was
James Garner - Passing Profile and Channel Defending
-Garner is the best channel defending midfielder in the Premier League (alongside Iroegbunam and Florentino).
-High volume of tackles in the pockets with a decent success rate (~50%).
-No midfielder made more interceptions in the defensive half-spaces than Garner (19).
-And he doesn't disappoint on the ball. He is rated fairly high for his passing ability, given the kind of defensive responsibilities he has at Everton.
-Gets the ball into the box a lot (context: tall striker) and he can do it from either side of the pitch.
-From a quick glance, we can also see the high concentration of passes to and from the attacking half-spaces.
If a team is looking for a 'pockets' player, Garner is a great option. And I think his ceiling is very high.
Good article this, happy to see one of my favourite players, Amar Dedić (Benfica, 23) listed. Could have come last year for around €10m Euro’s and can also play LB.
Álvaro Rodríguez, delantero del Elche, está en la orbita de la Premier League.
Ya han llegado ofertas importantes por él, de unos 22 millones de euros: el Bournemouth y el Hull City están en la pugna.
🚨🔥 EXCL | Köln continue pushing strongly for Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh and are ready to raise their offer to €6m after Tromsø rejected a €5m bid, as exclusively revealed in May.
Leeds have also recently gathered information on the Gambian CB, adding him to their shortlist.
@Progression1878@efctruth20802 I agree, It’s interesting though, given Dibling is the development signing. Would a Bowen/Summerville type player be the replacement. Can’t think of any 21-25yr olds that would have the goals and assists we need.
Everton not getting Europe will hinder us in buying players, but also hurts us in retaining our better players.
This will start to feel like 16/17 season onwards when all the better players left. This is where recruitment and a project/system is very important
🌍 No midfielder in the world has more progressive carries this season than Hayden Hackney (174)
