@middle_class_us Meanwhile 13 of the top 15 wealthiest counties in the country are surrounding DC and standard of living keep growing there. They produce nothing of value for anyone. Strange that they complain about billionaires not shading while shopping on Amazon & driving their Tesla.
@accordingtowoz The 36% giving across the board raises are dumb and only did it for PR reasons. Reward the few that produce the majority of revenue. The majority of people in a business don't work harder or more efficient regardless of the size of wage increase.
@icewolf1911@beinlibertarian Just because the government builds something doesn't mean it wouldn't have happened. It would certainly get done cheaper and more suited for people's needs. The interstates are a huge financial burden to maintain.
@LukeTrago@ComicDaveSmith He was a bitter, angry, failed intellectual who begged rich elites for loans and never paid them back. He fathered a child cheating on his wife and never talked to that woman again. His own family couldn't stand him. Chose better role models.
@HealthyMama83@ComicDaveSmith The majority of workers at any human endeavor produce very little. This has been studied and confirmed again and again. Its an uncomfortable truth but every effort to change it has failed. The productivity of a small minority is why we have everything we do. We should thank them
@WilliamKin65977@DeTocqueville14@StocHoliday84 You are missing the point, private businesses can't take away your freedom indefinitely when they suspect you are a problem. This isn't a private business argument. The state is the problem. If you are fine with people we over-pay to be able to spy on your every move, cool.
@SallyMayweather I just converted my car to run on white bread, which i also burn to generate heat and electricity so I'm killing it right now.
P.S. I also wipe my ass with it. Its a miracle product!
@WilliamKin65977@StocHoliday84@DeTocqueville14 It's AI driven surveillance technology that the largest government in history that spending toward collapse is extremely interested in adopting everywhere! You don't see how that could be a problem? The risks overwhelming out weigh the benefits.
@WilliamKin65977@StocHoliday84@DeTocqueville14 The automobile might be the best physical representation of freedom for most people. The state should not have a digital record of where, when, and how long you go places. What if they want to limit daily travel? That's already been mentioned but the possibilities are terrifying.
@TraderStrider The fraud is a perk! When you move from stealing the money to speaking it into existence, fraud helps you justify doing it more and more! To be fair to boomers it was past the point of no return before they were born. They just enjoyed the sweet spot of the fall of an empire.
@uriahz@dig_deeper1 Example? Curious because 4 year degree jobs are getting crushed by AI the hardest. The trades will be one of the most difficult to replace with robots. There is a growing demand and wain on supply. They literally hold society from crumbling on the daily.
@ImBreckWorsham High Prices has been 90 percent of my feed for days now. Complaints, grow up, you're lazy, Trump, Biden, etc.
The govt CANNOT make things cheaper! They can only make price rise through inflation & regulations or slow the climb. The more trillions they spend the worse this gets.
