@northernassist hello NR. I feel ripped off. I went for my 12:29 train from Cottingham to Scarborough at 12:00. I checked the price online and it was £8.90 single.I got to the station at 12:19 and began to buy my ticket.I was angry to find the price was now £18.90.Sort this out!!

@northernassist So, a nice coincidence that the advanced tickets ran out within 15 mins of departure eh? Left my house at 12:02..price £8.90. 15 mins later at the station the price had increased.
Still unhappy at what is, blatant profiteering 🤬

@northernassist Why are they limited? A midday service to Scarborough will rarely be overcrowded. And, how come, the next train an hour later was only £8.90 and later on £7.90?
