@tim_rolls There’s a massive chasm at every level from the board room to the pitch. Only James and Palmer (when he can be bothered) would get in the PSG eleven for me. He’s certainly not the only one way out of his depth but having David Brent in the dugout is a disaster.
@tim_rolls@SmiffyEastStand@cfc_heritage Great stuff Tim. The lads gave everything that day, though clearly missed their marking assignments on going 2-0 down. Bet they were all playing Lego on the way back to London.
@tim_rolls I was there on the West Stand benches. When Steve Wicks equalized the atmosphere was incredible. Still get goosebumps even now when I see that goal.
Dullards peep up, "Well that's the rules!" when VAR suffocates another game. You'd think we were dealing with some ancient holy script. "The Rules" are made up and regularly changed by pretty much the same vampires who lord it in VAR.
It's all part of the same vampire Bureaucracy
In the summer of 1995, the BBC gave us one of the greatest football series shown on TV.

@tim_rolls A sad day Tim. Only Webb, Harris, Cooke and Hudson left from the 70 Cup winning side I think.
76/77 my favourite ever season watching Chelsea - the boys in blue in Division 2. RIP Eddie
