Just watched the last episode of Clarksons Farm, which I have watched from the beginning.
Usually I am a very positive person. Completely believe in fate & the universe - good & bad.
I’m a omeone whom makes the bad in the world palatable by believing that ‘everything happens for a reason’.
But as I’ve grown older it becomes more difficult to accept that belief.
Watching what Jeremy has so openly & elegantly exposed. The impossible future for our UK farmers, how hard they work to provide us as a nation & the lack of support & funding they receive.
It’s sickening ….

It was always my dream to own a farm, having grown up in that environment- but now …. It would be my worst nightmare.

Jeremy, we wish you all the very best for a full recovery.
Thank you for all that are you, all that you do & for showing the UK that we are united.
Exposing the flaws & injustice in our country.

Yet another person ripped off by the big chains / fast fit centres.
We are seeing this more & more & usually I take these cowboys on quietly alongside the customer.
NOT ANYMORE …. I will document & show you the failures & unnecessary work found by the ‘big guys’ that then end up coming to The Auto Lass Workshops for an honest opinion & inspection. 🧐 Where we will usually reassure the customer that they don’t require the majority of work ‘found’.
But this today has REALLY got to me !!!

1966 Jaguar 420 revival update🚗🔧

When a car has been stood for years, I think that there are two approaches…

1. Turn the key and hope ✨
2. Replace half the ignition system, 90% of the fuelling system and negotiate with the automotive gods for a successful outcome 😅.

Today’s sacrifice:
✅ Cap
✅ Rotor arm
✅ Points
✅ Condenser
✅ Leads
✅ Fluids
✅ Various bits Jaguar hid in impossible places

Current status:
Engine has had more new parts today than some modern cars get in a lifetime.

Will it start?
Will it idle?
Will it immediately remind us why 1960s luxury cars have so much ‘character’ ?
