#AwfullyBritishReasonsToCry One lonely teabag left...and the stupid Co-op closed at 5pm!! Do I have it now or save it for tomorrow?

Harrowing.

#Oasis25 I hope Oasismania has the following impact:

1) Young folk pick up guitars and form bands.

2) Radio stations like @BBCR1 see that kids still love rock ‘n’ roll and add more bands to playlists.

3) The gov introduces eye-watering fines for greedy ticket resellers.

We're digging Digbeth 🤩

Did you know this vibrant area was once the industrial heart of the city? Now, it's packed with street art, indie shops, and trendy cafes.

Trying to watch The Longest Yard on @paramountplus (via @primevideouk) so I can listen to the latest episode of @TheRewatchables!

Why can’t I watch it on @PrimeVideo? Grrr. I tried yesterday as well 🫤

[Andy Parker @AndyParkerUK]

@NoContextBrits Haha. I know @fokawolf’s handiwork when I see it!

Have you seen the fabulous @ObserverUK article with @Bozzers and @joelycett tucking into tasty sustenance at @670grams?! 😋

Give it a read here: https://t.co/xWlmarCDtS

@thisislaurent Hey Lauren. I’ve been a type 1 for 33 years (I was 9 years old when diagnosed) 😊 Agree with all your points about the woes of a dodgy pancreas…although I think the third point definitely needs an ‘in moderation’ to be added!

@FreeStyleDiabet Hey. Any idea how long it will take to get the app back on the App store? I followed the vid and deleted the app - but it isn’t in my ‘Purchased’ bit on the App Store.

#Glasto I could watch Cate Blanchett dancing all night. Can she go on stage with every act this year, @emilyeavis? Thanks.

Are you planning to watch ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ at the @mockbirdcinema?! Well, talented Digbeth animator Nicola Finizio did the impressive FX for the critically acclaimed movie - look out for the explosions 💥

This is Nicola in his swag from @SonyAnimation 👏👏

Have you heard the brilliant @ShameDelicious with comedians Darren Harriott and @eshaanakbar?! The podcast - which talks about glorious failures and embarrassment - is (mostly) recorded here in Digbeth.

@deepblue3378 I’ve really got into REM after reading @john_everhart’s best 40 songs piece for @TheAVClub.

Errr…Country Feedback. It’s wonderful. And the undisputed all-time best swearing in a song ever 🤬

P.S. Is it a crime to enjoy Shiny Happy People?

The screening of 1984 TV landmark Threads at @mockbirdcinema will include a Q&A with writer @JulieAMcDowall. As well as hosting the Atomic Hobo podcast, Julie has just published her new book Attack Warning Red about Britain's preparations for nuclear war.
