@AndersonLMiller Well said. Your postings on here and videos on YouTube have helped me work with my 14 year old tremendously. There are a lot of charlatans in this space but you aren’t one of them. Keep up the good work!
@prospectdugout@JLucroy20 I can agree with you there. I think if the father has a background in the game (college/pro) and is willing to work with their son then travel isn’t necessary until 13/14. At that point I can see the benefits of being in the right org
@prospectdugout@JLucroy20 That’s just not true. I didn’t let my son play until 14u and he didn’t miss a thing. There are a lot of travel coaches that just sit on a bucket and roll out the balls and play a ton of games with zero development.
@NorCalU1 @BluebookBeede And yet you never hear about anyone being ineligible anymore. Hard to believe all D1 football and basketball players are staying eligible now.
@AndersonLMiller I’ve seen so many coaches complain about it but until a group of teams decide to change/do something outside of the norm it will continue. A lot of the parents prefer this model partly because they can hang out with other parents and drink at the hotels and brag to co workers.
