Its about nowhere to park with half decent facilities, being over regulated, and given near no respect for what they do until the shelves are empty and tge petrol pumps are dry. Then suddenly people realise how important haulage and drivers are.

Hauliers and supermarkets exploited cheap labour and kept the wages artificially low, and now nobody wants to do it anymore. You should try it for a week. I certainly don't and I've been in the industry over 25 years

Theres plenty of HGV drivers in the UK that have left the industry because of the hours, the way we're treated by companies and Joe Public the lack of proper safe parking and facilities. Essential workers one minute lepers the next
