I'll still be around Twitter. But my time here will be deliberately more utilitarian. When it comes to scrolling and tweeting for the vibes catch me here.
@jakeformayor I remember when Pucatrade was melting down I traded my cousin some cards on his list just so his points wouldn't be stranded for all time.
@jakeformayor Definitely Chain Lightning. When I get packs like this, if the arguably best card in the pack goes into an aggressive deck I move in until something tells me to pivot.
@jakeformayor I've always wondered... IF it came out that the MTGO shuffler was truly broken, and that there was a real Thoughtseize bug. What would the financial damages be?
@tommygetseaten I think it is worse than Push. The point I was making is that pre-Fatal Push, it was weird that Black was the removal color and did not have efficient 1 mana cmc. That if you wanted good 1 cmc removal, you needed to go outside of black to find it.
This card has been needed badly for YEARS.
It has been so frustrating to build control decks and wonder...
"Why do all of my removal spells give my opponent card advantage? Who decided that all white cards needed this limitation?"
It's like when Fatal Push was printed.
@pseudonym789 I expect this to be a standard staple for as long as its legal. This will make big impacts in Pioneer, could see fringe legacy play as well.
The lack of viable combo in Arena cube makes it utter midrange grind booty cheeks.
(And of the few combos that do exist, most of them require creatures. Which feeds the midrange bootycheek-ness of the format.)
