Disability allowance isn't an open pot of endless cash. Especially if your having 2 pay on average £98 per physio session per week bcos the LA says they will only provide 4 sessions a year!

@JENBROOK8 @Ianbarnes2001 @PaulOBrienArch @tribentrail @VoiceOfN9 @ediz1975 It's very easy 2 say it's a simple fix but there are soo many people with different needs, different abilities, different financial situations. On average the cost of simple everyday items like shoes r 3x more expensive 4 a person with spacific needs, nevermind an adapted bike!

What if the person who would need it lives in a property where there is no room 2 store it? How about if the person with the disability physically cannot sit on an adapted bike & transport their wheelchair 2?

@Ianbarnes2001 how about you work your way around to spending your time on making the pavements safer for #wheelchair users. We can't all ride bikes & using a cycle lane isn't really great either especially as a % of #wheelchair users travel with a carer #LTN

Almost full time wheelchair user here👨🏾‍🦽 got myself a nice self propelling 1 which should give me more independence but yet everyday travelling 2 school I find myself hitting a raised paving stone or one of my wheels getting stuck in between paving gaps or stuck on curbs.

@ediz1975 @Ianbarnes2001 @PaulOBrienArch @tribentrail @VoiceOfN9 Not just me & my family but all those others of 1000s of disabled or elderly people who live in the Borough who use the "restricted" streets 2 get 2 1 appointment 2 another & now have 2 leave home or school rediculously early just 2 get through the traffic it's #discrination.

Maybe I should ride a bike with a tow rope 2 his wheelchair
