@SFMTA_Muni Been waiting for the 24 at Divis/Haight towards the Castro for over 25 minutes. Bus finally came but it was too packed. Waiting for the next.
#unitingforukraine Update: my aunt had no issues getting through customs upon her arrival. The border agent was very kind and accommodating. She was off the plane and got her passport stamped within 20 minutes. Weβre extremely thankful!
@RSchaeberle@or_angina_moon@USCIS Have you reached out to Customs & Border Protection? I was able to call and speak with someone who escalated my case. The travel authorizations must come from CBP.
@KQEDSashaKhokha Hi Sasha! Iβm asking for you help in amplifying my story. On June 8th my aunt is coming to America for the 1st time after fleeing Ukraine. Itβs some good news the Bay Area could really use. It would be great to share our long awaited reunion. Thank you!
If anyone has successfully arrived in the US from Ukraine under #UnitingforUkraine please let me know how the trip went. Anything to be mindful of when passing through customs and border protection? Thanks!
@forevapochi@KLM Yes the uniting for Ukraine travel authorization is the main document they need to show at US customs. Each parole applicant is reviewed on a case by case basis upon arrival.
My family members will be flying @KLM from Warsaw to Amsterdam to San Francisco thanks to the #unitingforukraine parole program. Please wish them safe travels!
@KLM Thanks for the love! If thereβs anything @KLM can do to make their first trip to America more enjoyable and pleasant - please let me know! ππ
@d_twit@ricescott128@USCIS@CBP My beneficiary finally received a travel authorization. I didnβt reapply, but I did get on the phone with CBP and they escalated my case.
Both @USCIS and @CBP are aware of the travel authorization issues with #UnitingforUkraine I hope thereβs a resolution soon as many are eagerly waiting to reunite with loved ones.
Still waiting on a travel authorization from #UnitingforUkraine@USCIS days after being alerted that a decision was made. No additional documents or instructions provided. Very frustrating π
@masterenki77@USCIS Have you called Customs and Border Protection? I got someone on the phone who is escalating my case to help us retrieve the travel authorization. Still waiting but at least theyβre aware.
@RSchaeberle@USCIS Have you tried contacting Customs & Border Protection? I think once youβre approved as the sponsor CBP is responsible for issuing the travel authorization. Iβve called and emailed - no response yet but worth a shot.
@masterenki77@USCIS Unfortunately not. I have a feeling everyone is stuck on the same step. Attestation and travel authorization are unavailable. Now the case is closed and we still donβt have a CBP decision.
