@NEJM My GP even prescribed Naproxen, something Drs DON'T prescribe when you have a fracture because it slows down bone healing. I guess telling your GP it feels like someone is constantly stabbing you in the bone with a white hot poker counts for nothing these days 🙄

@NEJM I've just gone back to work after 13 weeks off with a proximal tibial fracture. I was given absolutely no pain relief, wasn't told I had an extremely low level of Vitamin D3 till 14 weeks after my blood test, and there's been no mention of physio. I'm still in pain when I walk!!

@NEJM That was over 15 weeks ago now as I've been back in work for 3. It was bad enough that my GP didn't believe how much pain I was in and said it was "just a sprain" despite the fact I could barely walk even with crutches.
