I am honoured to have contributed to the work and advocacy for Black History to be included in the national curriculum. This is not just a win for myself but for thousands of young BAME students in Wales seeking diversity and representation in the subjects they are taught 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🖤

Proud of the role everyone has played in bringing about today's news on Racism and Black History to be included as part of the curriculum - big shout out to our Welsh Youth Parliament Member @AngelEzeadum in using her role to speak up about this! @RCCCymru @BHMWales @BameedWales

There are no more slogans left. No more campaigns. No more conversations to be had. We were told and taught to turn the other cheek. Enough. We have to affect the money. That's all they care about.

@StHelensRC Love, love, love this! Thank you for the inclusion, wow I never could’ve imagined this. I hope both the children and staff found the lesson informative. I wish I was fortunate enough to have these lessons when I was in primary school. (P.s. what a fantastic portrait 👏🏾)

[Angel Ezeadum @AngelEzeadum]

This has absolutely made my day 🤍 The work I do is for this generation, so they can grow up in a world of love and equality, juxtaposing the lives their ancestors lived. Thank you @StHelensRC for your fantastic work, proof that no student is too young to learn of Black History.

That he was ever detained is a scandalous abuse of power. All power to his girlfriend @eternallyamour who has led the campaign to get Joey released 🌟✊and @Duncanlewispublic for speedy work today

[Be A King @BerniceKing]

Before his name became a hashtag, #GeorgeFloyd was a human being who mattered.

A brother, a father, a friend. A person.

I’m praying for his family today.
