Angel Pedro | Nas Young
Health Sciences was in control from start to finish behind a balanced, high-level performance from Angel Pedro and Nas Young, who impacted the game in different but equally decisive ways. Pedro was the steady force inside, owning the glass and playing bigger than his position. He cleaned up misses, created extra possessions, and anchored the paint defensively, deterring drives and making Bennett think twice about attacking the rim. When Bennett made their third-quarter push and cut into the lead, Pedro stayed composed, answering with timely buckets and strong defensive stands that stopped the run from turning into momentum. His physicality, rim protection, and winning plays defined the tone, finishing with 17 points and a strong two-way presence.
On the perimeter, Nas Young set the tempo early and closed the door late. From the opening tip, his ball pressure disrupted Bennett’s rhythm and forced rushed decisions. He scored 10 points in the first quarter to jump-start the offense, then remained locked in defensively as Health Sciences built control. When the game tightened in the third, Nas never panicked. In the fourth, he took command, making smart reads, valuing possessions, and picking his spots to attack while keeping the group organized against pressure. His defensive activity fueled momentum plays that led to separation, finishing with 18 points and impact on both ends.
Different roles. Same result. Complete team control.
