Grand Island finishes the job and captures the A1–A2 Crossover Championship.
The Vikings maintained control throughout the second half and pulled away to secure the win. Both teams went to their benches late as Grand Island closed out the championship performance.

Fredonia competed, but Grand Island’s balanced scoring and strong defensive effort proved to be the difference.

Grand Island survived a hard fought battle over a tough Will-South squad as the Vikings prevailed with a 66-53 win.
Grand Island had a well-balanced scoring attack led by Jake Castiglia with 19pts (4-3pt), KJ Wilkes added 15pts, Ryan Mayer chipped in with 14pts and Dane Brown added 11pts. Chase Uribes and Blake Deloreto each scored 3pts and Jonathan Neville added 1pt.
Will-South was led by Sam Tedesco with 13pts and Evan Pauly had 12pts.

Grand Island survives numerous comeback attempts from the Spartans winning 46-43.
The Vikings leading from start to finish, were led by Jake Castiglia with 16pts Dane Brown added 15pts. JJ Wilkes scored 9pts, including the final 4pts for the Vikings. Ryan Mayer had 4pts and Chase Uribes added 2pts.
Will-North was led by Evan Morphy with 16pts, AJ Weissenburg and Greyson Goehle added 11pts each.

Tons of talent for college coaches to look at.
Steal strikes consistently. Throws runners out at a high rate, back picks runners. Definitely a catcher you want to see in game to fully appreciate the high level he’s playing the position. The @BUncommitted catcher impresses everywhere we go. @GabeChambers27
Jake came up in big spots all weekend and delivered. We loved his competitiveness in the box. Athletic build, 6’1 165, also a varsity basketball player. Another projectable MI in our stable. A great early follow.
