I am actively looking for an Accounting Internship or Graduate Trainee role. I bring a strong foundation in finance, a sharp eye for numbers, and clearly, a work ethic that doesn't stop when it rains.๐ซ๐
If your team is looking for a dedicated entry-level accountant, or
Protesters sleeping under the rain to give people a glimpse of what the abducted children and teachers may be going through in captivity. ๐๐
According to one of the protesters, the victims have been away from their families for days, and there are fears that some of them may not even be getting enough food to eat.
The demonstration was meant to draw attention to their suffering and renew calls for urgent action to secure their release.
As parents and loved ones continue to wait in pain and uncertainty, many are praying for the safe return of every child and teacher still being held captive. ๐ญ๐๐ฝ๐
MESSAGE BY THE FIRST LADY OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, HER EXCELLENCY, SENATOR OLUREMI TINUBU, CON, ON CHILDRENโS DAY 2026 (WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2026).
As we celebrate this yearโs Childrenโs Day, I extend my well wishes and heartfelt love to every child across our great nation.
This yearโs theme, โFuture Now: Promoting Inclusion for Every Nigerian Child,โ reminds us that the future we desire for our children must begin today. Our children are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are active participants in shaping our present.
My message to children on this special day is to take ownership of today in a responsible and purposeful manner. The future you desire is shaped by the choices you make now. It is important to stay focused, make wise decisions, and use your time productively.
A brighter tomorrow cannot be achieved by pursuing destructive or unrealistic paths, but by building your character, discipline, and a commitment to learning and growth.
Happy Childrenโs Day to all our wonderful children!

A WARNING TO THE PRESIDENT @officialABAT , GOVERNMENT @NigeriaGov , @nassnigeria@NGRSenate@HouseNGR Governorsโ Forum @NGFSecretariat and State Houses of Assembly AND THE NIGERIAN POLITICAL CLASS OF NIGERIA AT LARGE:
DO NOT DARE WISH OUR CHILDREN โHAPPY CHILDRENโS DAYโ TODAY .
To the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Vice President, the Governors of the 36 States, the Federal Executive Council, the Members of the National Assembly, the State Houses of Assembly, and the entire political class that has captured and destroyed the Nigeria State:
Do not dare.
Do not dare open your mouths on May 27 to wish Nigerian children a โHappy Childrenโs Day.โ Do not dare release the recycled, ghost-written platitudes your media handlers have already drafted. Do not dare stand in front of cameras, surrounded by carefully arranged children in matching uniforms, to perform a tenderness you have never extended to the millions of Nigerian children you have abandoned, betrayed, and condemned to lives of suffering.
You have no moral standing to wish anything to Nigerian children. None.
Consider what you are dishonorably wishing them.
You are wishing โHappy Childrenโs Dayโ to the 39 students and 7 teachers seized only days ago, on 15 May 2026, from a secondary school and two primary schools in Ahoro Esinele community in Oriire district of Oyo State- children aged between two and sixteen , snatched from the southwest in a chilling expansion of a terror that you swore would be confined to the north.
You are wishing โHappy Childrenโs Dayโ to the 25 schoolgirls of the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Wasagu/Danko, Kebbi State, taken from their hostel at dawn on 18 November 2025, after gunmen killed the vice principal and most of whom are still missing as I write.
You are wishing โHappy Childrenโs Dayโ to the 303 students and 12 teachers of St. Maryโs Catholic Primary and Secondary School in Papiri, Niger State, seized on 21 November 2025 - children aged 10 to 18, boys and girls- whose abduction forced more than 20,000 Nigerian schools to close indefinitely .
You are wishing โHappy Childrenโs Dayโ to the 287 students of the Government Secondary School in Kuriga, Kaduna State, taken by gunmen on motorcycles on 7 March 2024 in broad daylight while you and your political colleagues posed for swearing-in photographs.
You are wishing โHappy Childrenโs Dayโ to the 15 children of Gidan Bakuso, Sokoto State, seized from their boarding school on 9 March 2024 as they slept.
You are wishing to the Chibok girls- over 90 of whom are still missing, twelve years after April 14, 2014, while you have moved on, and for your repugnant luxury, speedily rebuilt and redecorated Aso Villa, bought opulent hideous cars, and rotated power among yourselves as if those girls never existed. But their parents who gave birth to them continue to grieve and daily rain curses on the evil leaders that have shown no empathy towards them and their abducted daughters.
You are wishing โHappy Childrenโs Dayโ to the children of Dapchi, Kankara, Kagara, Jangebe, Afaka, Greenfield, Bethel Baptist, Tegina - and to the many whose abductions never made the headlines because Nigeria had run out of capacity to grieve.
You are wishing โHappy Childrenโs Dayโ to the at least 1,799 students seized in a dozen of the largest abductions since Chibok , and to the 670 children affected by at least 10 school kidnappings in less than two years - a litany of horror compiled not by your security agencies, but by international human rights organisations doing the work your government refuses to do.
Part One โฆโฆโฆ..
Thereโs a thin line between admiration and envy.
Sometimes, all it takes is one tiny trigger for someone who once admired you and wished they had what you have to suddenly switch into resentment, rooting for your downfall.
It goes from:
Wow. She has that. Sheโs super >> I really wish I had that too >> why donโt I have that? >> How exactly did she get that and not me? Iโm better than her >> What is she always feeling like? Iโm sure itโs because of that thing she has >> Stupid girl. I hope she loses it
In my small years on earth, Iโve come to see that your biggest antagonist were once masked as your biggest admirers
โLow effort friends,โ meanwhile the whole time they may be at rock bottom, fighting for their lives, but still forcing themselves to show up because they donโt want to be those friends who always ruin plans or make excuses.
I have said it before: money makes you a better friend, partner, sibling, parent, colleague, etc. When you donโt have money, you cannot bring your thoughts to life. You turn down invites from friends to avoid embarrassment, and lowkey they begin to think you donโt like them like that.
Okay, then you decide to show up with the little you have, probably because your friends insisted that it doesnโt matter and they understand your condition. But you get there and realize everyone came correct, and suddenly you begin to feel small. You start overthinking everything; how you look, what you wore, what you ordered, what you could or couldnโt contribute.
I know we are all assuming because we do not know these peopleโs stories. However, it is not nice to label strangers โlow effort friendsโ just from a video they made and posted themselves.
Also, if you are not liquid enough to comfortably show up for an event or gathering like this, I strongly advise that you donโt show up tbh. They will still see you as a bad or low effort friend anyway. But theyโll be alright. Only you truly know your story, your struggles, and how hard you are trying to stay afloat.
Seems weโve forgotten the toddlers languishing in the deepest of forests .
Itโs wild, this guy hasnโt even said anything , heโs busy with a useless primary election ; insane .
