This marks Wisco's 4th overall WIAA Boys Basketball State title, which is the most by any Lutheran school.

Wisconsin Lutheran won the D2 state title last year and moved up to D1 this year based on the WIAA's success formula. The Vikings win back-to-back state titles under coach Ryan Walz, one in D2 and another in D1.
