@dr_marshmallow The first sport I think is Rugby, there's no protection at all and it's basically football without any gear, I think they use that a lot with it comes to marketing #SRM3227
@ReportReynolds I think this would be beneficial to get more fans involved because without the NFL would be nothing. But @theDorais brings up a very good point and this could create bias feedback. #SRM3227
@NoeckerRyan I think that's going to be long time before that happens, but in the mean the NFL can afford the backlash because look how long it's been going on now #SRM3227
@JulianM14178 I think Amazon has also mastered this. Since I am a prime member, they know exactly what things I would considered on buying or what is on sale, it's like they already know what like and don't like from when I search and buy things. #SRM3227
@theDorais@ReportReynolds I think that's the biggest disadvantage for researchers when sport consumers do not fill out surveys honestly because they just want the free stuff. It's like they get useless data but the fan just walked away in a $60 hoodie for free 🤔 #SRM3227
@ReportReynolds I agree, sometimes they only way to get sport consumers to take a survey is by having an incentive like free food, tickets, or apparel /gear. However, some people do enjoy expressing their experiences without a cost. #SRM3227
@nick_argenti I wonder how effective are pop up adds because I'm sure a lot of sport consumers are annoyed by them and constantly ignore them. Which is why some people don't like to use their emails and phone #s for signing #SRM3227
At the Wells Fargo Center, they release a beta app where people can use the tickets, find concessions, and other events happening at the center. However, lot of sport consumers are not liking this new feature. #srm3227
@Tug02752 Very true, I noticed a lot of sport teams such as the Eagles and Flyers are using mobile tickets now to collect their data by scanning tickers on their phone #SRM3227
A lot of researchers use the internet surveys to collect data on sport consumers because the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. We see a lot of sport marketers use theses surveys at the end when they just purchased something or at the end of a event. #SRM3227
@ReportReynolds So true! This is just the first step for Uniqlo to put their brand our there. Eventually, Uniqlo will sponsors more active athletes probably have a target for close to retirement athletes. #SRM3227
@shawngill27 Curry's deal with Under Armor is almost $80 million last time I check, Under Armor will be crazy if they lose Curry, so his deal is definitely a long term or life time deal. #SRM3227
@dr_marshmallow I think a lot athletes after their playing years will choose to endorse non sport brands. These athletes still want to make big money and if non sport brands are willing to pay them, athletes will endorse these brands. #SRM3227
@theDorais@dr_marshmallow Right, I believe Federer wanted to do more with his legacy after his playing years and Uniqio already had plans in place to support him on his mission and Nike already has plenty of athletes to support their brand. #SRM3227
Federer left Nike to go to another sponsor because he still wanted to achieve his goal for his charity work and Uniqlo plans to support him on that mission, I think that's reason besides money #SRM3227
@Rylee67252462 Exactly, the company already had vision for him during his last few year of his career but mostly after playing years and I think that's what motivated him on this deal #SRM3227
Also, this a great deal for professional sport athletes to have sponsorship deals on a international scale. Maybe this is a good thing that Federer is expanding his role as Global Brand Ambassador somewhere else. #SRM3227
