Statement on behalf of the Kirk Family:
The conclusion of the preliminary hearing marks an important step forward in the pursuit of justice for Charlie. Our family is grateful for the prayers, support, and kindness that has been extended to us, especially through these unimaginably painful and emotionally demanding proceedings.
As difficult as these last few days have been, it brings our family comfort to know that the world has witnessed the overwhelming evidence of what occurred to Charlie that day.
Nothing will ever undo the loss of our beloved Charlie. As this case moves into its next phase, we pray that truth will continue to be heard through a process that is fair, transparent, and grounded in the facts.
The Left wants the White House to feel like an untouchable institution reserved for political elites. They hate seeing it used for events that remind Americans it belongs to them.
Turning the White House into a place of celebration, culture, and public engagement, especially as we approach America’s 250th, strips away the myth that government is something distant and above the American people.
No surprise the Democrats despised last night’s UFC event, but what truly frustrates them is what it represents: a White House that feels like the people’s house again.
So I happened to remember a clip of Candace right after Charlie was killed and her saying she loved Erika as soon as she met her. And she told him to go for it!!
Now she’s saying basically Erika was just a rebound and she didn’t think Erika would be more than a girlfriend and that Erika basically was saying all the right things to get Charlie.
However, Charlie’s recollection of how he fell in love with her is much different.
Candace Baby you’re lying again. So which was it? You loved her and pushed him to go for it? Or you thought she was a rebound and would only ever be just a girlfriend until he found someone else?
Candace can’t even stop lying. Sounds like he was falling from the first moment they met not that he was going to use Erika to make someone jealous. That wasn’t who Charlie was Candace. You made him sound so shallow and you know he wasn’t that type of man.
For those people saying, “If @MrsErikaKirk were truly grieving, she would’ve taken a year off for her kids and therapy”:
Coretta Scott King led a march in Memphis DAYS after MLK’s assassination and kept fighting for civil rights for decades.
Myrlie Evers-Williams jumped right into activism after Medgar’s murder, raised their 3 kids, and later ran the NAACP.
Ethel Kennedy raised 11 children while pushing the Kennedy family’s political and social causes.
Betty Shabazz, who was there when Malcolm X was killed, raised their 6 daughters, got her doctorate, became a prominent activist, and spent her life protecting his legacy.
Elisabeth Elliot stayed in the jungle with the tribe that murdered her husband and kept doing missionary work.
Some women are just built different. They throw themselves into their husband’s cause instead of falling apart. It’s called “immersion” and is common in grief.
You might not like it, but you don’t matter. That woman will protect and continue her husband’s legacy, no matter how awful you people are.
