There are a few of us who have been sitting with an 80 year old gentleman who fell over at Apex Park, Burnham on Sea today at 1130am. He is laying on the concrete where he fell, he is cold and in agony. Broken leg/hip?? The ambulance has been rung 6 times, a police car has been flagged down by a member of public who showed concern and left again. All we know is there is unprecedented pressure locally, no ambulances available. He’s been lying here for SIX AND A HALF HOURS with no idea when an ambulance will arrive @burnham_on_sea @swasFT @Ashley7Fox

The gradual Islamification of our country is one of the greatest threats to the way of life we have inherited. It is not a sudden invasion, but a slow shift in demography, institutions, and public norms. Mosques and parallel communities grow, religious demands move from the private sphere into schools, workplaces, and the law, and political leaders treat criticism of that change as taboo rather than as a legitimate argument about culture and cohesion.

A free society depends on more than elections. It depends on a shared willingness to live under the same rules, to separate religion from the state, to tolerate dissent, and to treat women, apostates, and minorities as equals rather than as subjects of religious authority.

Where Islamic doctrine and practice collide with those habits on blasphemy, apostasy, gender, and the supremacy of religious law the pressure is not merely for accommodation. It is for the majority culture to retreat.

Unchecked, that retreat changes the country itself. Speech narrows. Integration stalls. Trust between communities frays.

What was once assumed secular law, open criticism of religion, equal rights that do not stop at the mosque door becomes negotiable.

A people that will not defend the foundations of its own society should not be surprised when those foundations are rewritten by those who never shared them.
